Presentation Reflections

The creation of the presentation was the easiest part, because I already knew what to say and when to say it. The hardest part was how to put the topic into layman's terms because the terminology is very complex and a general audience would find it hard to follow. I think I could have improved upon this in my presentation. Personally, I have no problem presenting, but I would have wanted others to understand my project more. I immediately found it difficult to make others understand because I am used to presenting for scientists, and maybe I would have spent more time putting the terms into a more concise manner. Ususally, I present for about 20 mins regarding this project, but I thought there was a time limit of 8 minutes and I finished early thinking that I had exceeded the time limit. In the future, I will wear a watch to measure the time that has already passed. I learned that I was capable, but my presentation could have been better, and I saw that some of my peers put their presentations on powerpoint, and I feel that that would have been more useful for achieving a greater understanding.
